Design and fun combined in the most elegant way. This slide is sure to attract curious glances from the neighborhood children. The slide is manufactured using the so-called thermoforming process. A plastic plate is heated to a moldable temperature and then pulled over a mold under vacuum. This process is particularly suitable for unusual geometries and shapes. The outdoor slide uses UV and weather-resistant ABS plastic, which is particularly impressive due to its excellent recyclability. It is also moisture-repellent, dirt-repellent and resistant to fats and oils, electrostatic charges and temperature fluctuations. ABS also scores points for its toughness, is stiff, impact- and scratch-resistant and, above all, completely harmless. It is not without reason that Lego bricks, among other things, are made from this material. With the two click-connecting elements, the outdoor slide can be assembled in just a few seconds and the fun in the garden can begin. Our recommended age is 1.5 - 5 years. The maximum load is 50 kg.

When assembled, the slide is 160 cm long, 37 cm wide and 67 cm high. The seat height is 55 cm. The slide weighs 8 kg. The shipping box is 145 cm long, 35 cm wide and 30 cm high.

Pflegehinweise

Due to the properties of the plastic used, the outdoor slide is very easy to maintain. It can be left outside all year round. The slide can be cleaned with a damp cloth, a water hose or carefully with a high-pressure cleaner.

What is the difference to the indoor slide?

The difference lies primarily in the material, shape, size and manufacturing process. To make the outdoor slide suitable for outdoor use, it is made from ABS plastic, whereas the indoor children's slide is made from wood. Since there is naturally a little more space in the garden than inside, the outdoor slide is also a little larger than its indoor counterpart. And even though the shapes of both slides are intentionally similar, each has its own design. In terms of production, the outdoor slide is manufactured using the thermoforming process, unlike the indoor slide, which is first cut on a CNC milling machine and then painted.

Can I assemble the slide myself?

Yes, thanks to the simple click system, the outdoor slide can be assembled and ready for use in just a few seconds.

Can the slide also be placed indoors?

Due to its impressive length of 160 cm, the slide is best placed outside, where there is more space.

Does the slide become electrostatically charged?

No. Unlike most other plastic garden slides, this slide does not build up electrostatic charge and the kids' hair will not stand on end.

Is the plastic safe?

Yes. The plastic used is completely harmless, free of plasticizers and complies with the strict guidelines of the EU standard for toy safety.

Der erste Schritt ist immer der gleiche. Wir beobachten unsere 6 Kinder aufmerksam beim Spielen. Egal ob in der Spielgruppe, im Kindergarten, auf dem Spielplatz oder zu Hause. Welche Spielzeuge oder Spielgeräte nutzen sie? Was sind das für Spielgegenstände? Warum nutzen die Kinder es gerne? Und wie könnte man sowas schöner und einzigartig machen? - sind die Fragen, die wir uns dann stellen.

Danach wollen wir genau verstehen, was es ist, dass Kinder an einem Gegenstand zum Spielen fasziniert und animiert. Sobald das herausgefunden ist, bringen wir zusammen mit unserem Designteam erste Ideen und Entwürfe mit diesen Erkenntnissen zu Papier, die in mehreren Revisionen immer weiter durchdacht und entwickelt werden.

Sobald die Entwürfe final sind, werden die technischen Pläne und Daten in die Produktion übergeben, um erste Prototypen herzustellen. Danach beginnt ein langwieriger Prozess aus Testen, Optimieren, erneut Testen, weiter Optimieren so lange bis ein Produkt unseren hohen Anforderungen an Sicherheit und Ästhetik in vollem Umfang entspricht.

Sind alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt geht es an die Details. Ein transportsicheres Verpackungskonzept wird erarbeitet und hochwertige Produktbilder sowie eine verständliche Anleitung werden erstellt. Danach beginnt die erste Serienproduktion und nach Abschluss dieser kommt das neue Produkt ins Lager, von wo aus es direkt in die ganze Welt versendet werden kann um für leuchtende Kinderaugen zu sorgen.
