Description

Up the slide and then into the ball bath. It is not without reason that ball pools have been hugely popular for years. During development, it was important to us to finally offer a ball pool that is big enough to accommodate a slide, ideally our indoor slide. In our ball pool, a high-density foam and a wall thickness of 6 cm ensure good stability. With a fairly flat height of 25 cm, even the smallest children can get in and out safely. 300 plain, white balls ensure the fun. After being squeezed together, they return to their original shape. The material composition of the balls: 100% polyethylene, BPA free. The cover of the ball pool is elaborately sewn together and completed with high-quality zippers. Our age recommendation is 2-5 years.

Dimensions

The ball pit has an inner diameter of 115 cm. The side walls are an impressive 6 cm thick. The ball pit is 25 cm high and weighs almost 5 kg. The shipping box is 60 cm long, 80 cm wide and 35 cm high.

care instructions

The cover is washable at 40°C. We recommend a gentle wash cycle, but hand washing is even better. The cover must not be put in the dryer afterwards. Please note that only the cover can be washed, not the foam. The balls can be cleaned in two ways. Either in the shower/bathtub with a gentle detergent, or in the washing machine at 30°, also on a gentle cycle.

More information

The waffle knit fabric of the cover is OEKOTEX 100 certified. The ball pit is vacuum packed so that it can be shipped. To get the ball pit back into its original shape more quickly after the vacuum, you can treat it with a standard hair dryer or some steam from ironing.

Each ball pit comes with 300 balls. The balls are made of 100% polyethylene and are BPA-free. They quickly return to their original shape after being squeezed.

What diameter are the balls?

The white balls have a diameter of 7 cm.

Is the ball pit also available without balls?

No. Each ball pit comes with 300 balls as standard. To fill the ball pit almost to the brim with balls, there are 300 extra balls available in the accessories category.

Why is the ball pit shipped vacuum packed?

Since the ball pit has an unusually large diameter, we have to vacuum seal it so that it reaches a size that can be shipped.

How does the ball pit get back into shape after the vacuum?

The quickest way to do this is to use a little hot air (hair dryer) and hot steam (iron). The hot air or steam gets into the pores and opens them up again, so that the ball pit quickly returns to its original shape.

What foam is used inside?

We use polyurethane foam (PU foam) because it is both soft and dimensionally stable. This foam is not only durable but also flexible, so it quickly returns to its original shape after being subjected to stress. Another advantage is that it is skin-friendly and free of harmful substances, which makes it ideal for use in a high-quality ball pit.

The first step is always the same. We watch our 6 children carefully while they play. Whether in the playgroup, in kindergarten, on the playground or at home. What toys or play equipment do they use? What kind of play objects are they? Why do the children like to use them? And how could we make something like that more beautiful and unique? - these are the questions we then ask ourselves.

Then we want to understand exactly what it is that fascinates children about an object and encourages them to play with it. Once we have found out, we and our design team put initial ideas and drafts on paper based on these findings, which are then further thought through and developed in several revisions.

As soon as the designs are finalized, the technical plans and data are transferred to production to create the first prototypes. Then a lengthy process of testing, optimizing, testing again and further optimizing begins until a product fully meets our high standards of safety and aesthetics.

Once all the requirements have been met, the details begin. A transport-safe packaging concept is developed and high-quality product images and clear instructions are created. The first series production then begins and once this is complete, the new product goes into the warehouse, from where it can be shipped directly all over the world to make children's eyes light up.
