Description

Design and fun combined in the most elegant way. This slide is sure to attract curious glances from the neighborhood children. The slide is manufactured using the so-called thermoforming process. A plastic plate is heated to a moldable temperature and then pulled over a mold under vacuum. This process is particularly suitable for unusual geometries and shapes. The outdoor slide uses UV and weather-resistant ABS plastic, which is particularly impressive due to its excellent recyclability. It is also moisture-repellent, dirt-repellent and resistant to fats and oils, electrostatic charges and temperature fluctuations. ABS also scores points for its toughness, is stiff, impact- and scratch-resistant and, above all, completely harmless. It is not without reason that Lego bricks, among other things, are made from this material. With the two click-connecting elements, the outdoor slide can be assembled in just a few seconds and the fun in the garden can begin. Our recommended age is 1.5 - 5 years. The maximum load is 50 kg.

What is the difference to the indoor slide?

The difference lies primarily in the material, shape, size and manufacturing process. To make the outdoor slide suitable for outdoor use, it is made from ABS plastic, whereas the indoor children's slide is made from wood. Since there is naturally a little more space in the garden than inside, the outdoor slide is also a little larger than its indoor counterpart. And even though the shapes of both slides are intentionally similar, each has its own design. In terms of production, the outdoor slide is manufactured using the thermoforming process, unlike the indoor slide, which is first cut on a CNC milling machine and then painted.

The first step is always the same. We carefully observe our 6 children playing. Whether in a playgroup, kindergarten, playground, or at home. Which toys or play equipment do they use? What kind of playthings are they? Why do children enjoy using them? And how could we make something like that more beautiful and unique? – these are the questions we then ask ourselves.

After that, we want to understand exactly what it is that fascinates and animates children about an object for play. Once that is determined, our design team will put initial ideas and drafts on paper, incorporating these insights, which will then be further developed and refined through several revisions.

Once the designs are finalized, the technical plans and data are transferred to production to create initial prototypes. This is followed by a lengthy process of testing, optimizing, re-testing, and further optimizing until a product fully meets our high standards for safety and aesthetics.

Once all prerequisites have been met, it's time for the details. A transport-safe packaging concept is developed, and high-quality product images as well as clear instructions are created. After this, the first series production begins, and once completed, the new product goes into storage, from where it can be shipped directly all over the world to bring joy to children's eyes.
