Beschreibung

With the Jumpspot, jumping can begin indoors. The Jumpspot consists of an inflatable air chamber. But this is not an ordinary air chamber like in air mattresses etc. Inside the Jumpspot air chamber there is a so-called drop stitch fabric. When the Jumpspot is inflated, thousands of small nylon threads unfold inside, providing the perfect indoor suspension. The low height of only 20 cm ensures safety during play, especially for smaller children. With a diameter of 100 cm, the Jumpspot fits compactly and stylishly into any living room or children's room. By jumping, coordination and a sense of balance are trained in a playful way and the kids' muscles are strengthened. And when the little ones need a short break, the Jumpspot can also be used as a small chill-out area. The Jumpspot is completed and stylishly by the high-quality waffle knit cover, which is woven from 100% cotton and is certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Our age recommendation is 3-10 years. The maximum total load capacity is 100 kg, so dad can get on it too, so probably 😉

Abmessungen

When inflated, the Jumpspot measures 100 cm in diameter and 20 cm in height. It weighs 3.5 kg. The shipping box is small and compact. 50 cm long, 20 cm wide and 20 cm high.

Pflegehinweise

The cover can be washed at 40°C and ironed at a maximum of 110°C. Before washing the cover, please ensure that the cord ends of the cover are either tied tightly or secured with the clamp buckle so that the ends do not slip into the cover. The cover must not be put in the dryer and bleaching is also taboo for this material. The air chamber can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a little soap if necessary.

For safety reasons, please ensure that there are no objects within a radius of 1.5 m around the Jumpspot. The Jumpspot may only be used by one child at a time. Otherwise, as always, always give your child sufficient assistance when using the Jumpspot. The Jumpspot is designed exclusively for domestic use. Use only under the direct supervision of an adult. The Jumpspot has a so-called Halkey Roberts valve, also known as a Sup valve, which can withstand high pressure and has a pressure pin inside that closes or opens the valve. An adapter is included so that the Jumpspot can be inflated without a special air pump. This adapter makes it possible to fill the Jumpspot with a hand or household compressor. Leni from the product video is 4 years old at the time of recording and weighs 20 kg. The Jumpspot in the video is camel in color.

I don't have a hand compressor. How can I still inflate the Jumpspot?

The valve on the included adapter is a car valve. This means that you can theoretically get air into your jump spot anywhere that car tires are filled. Alternatively, you can also find special SUP air pumps in the accessories section here in the shop.

How hard do I have to pump up the Jumpspot?

Not too hard for the perfect spring properties. Basically, the younger and lighter the child, the softer the Jumpspot should be inflated. The pressure can be easily adjusted using the valve. Simply press lightly on the valve pin and air escapes until the desired and appropriate pressure point is found. The perfect pressure is very individual and varies from child to child depending on age, weight and motor development level. In the instructions you will therefore only find the pressure specification of 0.25 bar/3.6 psi. But be careful. This is the maximum pressure. At this pressure the Jumpspot is very hard and hardly bounces because the nylon threads inside are then stretched accordingly. Air must be released via the valve or you can pump the Jumpspot up a little softer. As you can see, it depends a bit on feeling here and the best thing to do is to test a few pressure points with the children. Once the right air pressure has been found, the air core will hold the air easily for weeks or months.

What is the difference between the indoor jump spot and the outdoor jump spot?

The main difference is the diameter. With a diameter of 100 cm, the indoor jumpspot is a good deal more compact than the outdoor jumpspot. In terms of the material of the air chamber, both products are made the same. Both have the drop stitch fabric inside. Furthermore, the air chamber of the indoor jumpspot is completely white, as everything except for a small piece on the bottom is enclosed by the washable cover. On the other hand, the top and bottom of the outdoor jumpspot are grey to make it more resistant to dirt, as it is usually placed on the lawn and used outside without a cover.

How is the cover attached to the air chamber?

This is done using a sewn-in cord and a clamp buckle. To do this, the cover is unfolded and placed over the already inflated air chamber. Now the enclosed small black clamp buckle must be threaded onto the ends of the cord. Then you slowly and carefully pull the ends of the cord tight and at the same time push the clamp towards the two eyelet holes. Then you put the rope ends together, fix them with the Velcro strip and stow them in the hem of the cover. This is of course explained again with pictures in the instructions.

Can the indoor jump spot also be used outdoors?

Due to the fact that the cover of the indoor jump spot is made of cotton and the bottom of the indoor jump spot is white, the indoor jump spot, as the name suggests, should only be used indoors.

Danach wollen wir genau verstehen, was es ist, dass Kinder an einem Gegenstand zum Spielen fasziniert und animiert. Sobald das herausgefunden ist, bringen wir zusammen mit unserem Designteam erste Ideen und Entwürfe mit diesen Erkenntnissen zu Papier, die in mehreren Revisionen immer weiter durchdacht und entwickelt werden.

Sobald die Entwürfe final sind, werden die technischen Pläne und Daten in die Produktion übergeben, um erste Prototypen herzustellen. Danach beginnt ein langwieriger Prozess aus Testen, Optimieren, erneut Testen, weiter Optimieren so lange bis ein Produkt unseren hohen Anforderungen an Sicherheit und Ästhetik in vollem Umfang entspricht.

Sind alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt geht es an die Details. Ein transportsicheres Verpackungskonzept wird erarbeitet und hochwertige Produktbilder sowie eine verständliche Anleitung werden erstellt. Danach beginnt die erste Serienproduktion und nach Abschluss dieser kommt das neue Produkt ins Lager, von wo aus es direkt in die ganze Welt versendet werden kann um für leuchtende Kinderaugen zu sorgen.
