Even though it seems that almost every company is now claiming to be saving the world with sometimes questionable actions, keyword "greenwashing", we want to use this platform and our reach to draw attention to projects that we support in an objective and non-judgmental way, with the aim of perhaps attracting a few more supporters. So how did we now have over 1000 square meters of forest in South America? The answer is: With Generation Forrest.
Generation Forest is an organization dedicated to reforestation to protect forests and promote biodiversity in the long term. The initiative was founded with the vision of combating the progressive loss of forests and natural habitats by restoring and preserving semi-natural forests. Generation Forest particularly promotes the reforestation of mixed forests in tropical regions, which have a positive impact on the climate, biodiversity and local communities.
A central goal of Generation Forest is not just to plant trees, but to create forests that will last and provide sustainable economic benefits. To do this, they use permaculture and forestry methods to create stable ecosystems that mimic nature.
